Renovation of 10 homes
In Monfoort, 10 homes – out of a total of 92 – were sustainably renovated using timber-frame components and now have an energy rating of A++. The design of the upgrade followed Active House principles, striking the perfect balance between energy design, indoor climate and environment.
A new well-insulated envelope was created around each of the properties, which achieve outstanding energy performance levels with their combination of (natural) ventilation, solar energy, and energy and climate control technology. As well as an effective insulation envelope, the homes have more space, more natural light and a comfortable indoor climate.
