Jaguar moves in with Land Rover Hasselt
By early 2017, the Land Rover Hasselt site on the Grote Ring had changed beyond recognition following the new owners’ decision to invest heavily in a new showroom over the previous months. The expansion plans continued to take shape on a plot of land purchased next to the existing Land Rover Hasselt site. The width of the façade was tripled and, unusually, the whole structure was built using prefabricated timber-frame construction components. The contract was awarded to Genk-based company Machiels Building Solutions. Land Rover and Jaguar in Limburg have now been brought together under one roof for the first time.
